From our natural land formations to our commercial industries to quaint lakeside retreats and quirky roadside attractions, let's explore how we put Port Colborne on the map.

May 1st to December 20th 

Explore our newest permanent exhibit in the Carriage House on the grounds of the museum. The exhibit showcases artifacts from a country museum on Pinecrest Road started in 1989 by Mildred Nigh which she called Nigh Agora Museum. She was inspired to create the little museum by the early handcrafted tools, utensils, baskets and more discovered on the farm she and her husband had purchased in 1972 from the Knisley family. The Nigh Agora exhibit celebrates the century farm and history of the Knisley family, and the dedication of Mildred Nigh in preserving this part of local history.

Explore the 100 year, multi-country journey of the Neff Steam Buggy from a local attraction to a national phenomenon.

May 1st to December 20th 

This travelling exhibit from the Canadian Language Museum surveys Canada's rich linguistic landscape, including over 60 Aboriginal languages, Canada's two official languages (English and French), and more than 100 languages that immigrants have brought to our shores. 

May to June 

Reminisce on the historical buildings and landmarks of Port Colborne's past as they are depicted and remembered in artwork from the Museum's collection.
